S.O.C.O.M. (Soldier Of Christ On a Mission) born as Jason Mitchell is 1/3 founder and President of the record label About Face Music Group, LLC as well as founder and CEO of The Experience Entertainment, LLC based in Tampa, FL. While doing Christian music since 2006 he has had the ability to travel worldwide to countries such as the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, United Kingdom, Ireland, South Korea, Portugal, Spain, Italy, France, Bahamas and the United States spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ through Christian Rap! S.O.C.O.M. currently resides in Tampa, Florida.

 

S.O.C.O.M.'s latest CD "The Experience" which released on January 1st, 2016 takes you through the depths of his heart for the community, the lost and the broken within the world that we currently live in. The Experience is S.O.C.O.M.’s most diverse album to date. This album has something everyone can relate to from the youngest to the eldest in order to grow, learn and experience all these aspects through the form of Christian Rap. His previous releases “About Face”, "Infinite Glory", "Kingdom Music", “Timeout” and “Tha Arrival” has set the bar in the industry by their success and has forward him the opportunity to work along side of some of the industry’s top artist’s including: Lecrae, Canton Jones, Trip Lee, Tedashii, Tonex, Toby Mac, Jamie Grace, Da Truth, K-Drama, D-Maub and many more.

 

S.O.C.O.M. is currently nominated in 2 categories for the IGARA Awards as well as 3 Categories for the Prayze Factor People’s Choice Awards. He has previously been nominated in 3 separate categories for the Texas Holy Hip Hop Achievement Awards and also a nomination for the Stellar Awards with his appearance on Gospel Skate Jams Volume II, featuring the song “Take It To The Churchfloor”.  S.O.C.O.M. was recently nominated and won Christian Hip Hop Artist of the Year through the Prayze Factor Peoples Choice Awards based out of Atlanta, GA and was 1st Runner Up in the Overall Grand Finale out of 250+ Artists worldwide in 2014.  S.O.C.O.M. was also nominated in 4 categories for the Rhythm of Gospel Awards, which is the 3rd largest Christian Awards Show in the world!
